Principal's Message

Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about St. Anne’s Primary School, Thomas Street, Rathkeale, Co. Limerick.

Our school is situated in the town and it serves pupils from the parish. We are a Roman Catholic Primary School under the patronage of the Bishop of Limerick.

St. Anne’s  is an innovative school which draws on the combined talents and skills of pupils, staff, parents and the local community of Rathkeale, to provide a holistic education for the pupils in our care.

“Mol an Óige” is our motto at St. Anne’s. We recognise the uniqueness of each pupil and strive to develop their potential in a nurturing and mutually respectful manner. Our dedicated, experienced and compassionate staff works tirelessly to provide the very best and broadest education for all of our pupils. We aim to provide a warm and caring environment where pupils can achieve their full potential academically, spiritually, physically, socially, morally and emotionally. Care is also taken to ensure that the well-being and happiness of each and every pupil in the school is provided for.

We are very fortunate to have a very active and involved parent body. Our Parents Association are very supportive. Parent nominees are also represented on the school’s Board of Management, the group of people entrusted to run the school.

I hope that you enjoy exploring our website and that it gives you an insight into our day to day life here at St. Anne’s.

Le Gach Dea-Ghuí,

Mairéad O’ Donnell
