Colours Day
A colours day will take place on Thursday, September 24th , in conjunction with Colaiste an Trocaire, Rathkeale no 2 , and St Joseph's BNS. The purpose of the day is to raise funds for the Kevin Bell repatriation trust . A few weeks ago Paul Moloney a past pupil died in Australia, as you would be aware the cost of a repatriation would be very high and thanks to the trust this was made possible for the family. Your support in the colours day would be much appreciated. Pupils can wear their ordinary clothes and bring a small contribution towards this worthy cause to be donated to the trust in Paul's name. |
Open Evening/Open Day
Parents are invited to attend an Open Evening at St. Anne’s and St Joseph’s schools on Thursday the 17th of September from 6.30 to 8pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet teachers and the principals and ask any questions about the school and the educational initiatives that are in place in the school. Parents of children who are currently attending will be present to chat about the school from the perspective. On Friday an Open Day will be held from 10.30 to 2.30 in both schools. Again all parents are invited to see the daily life of the school and see the classes in operation. The Parent’s Council will be present on the day. Refreshments will be provided in the Parents’ Room. We look forward to meeting you there. Staff and Parents from St Anne’s and St Joseph’s |
