Library

Here at St. Anne's school we are very lucky to have a library of our own. In 2008 Cora Harrison the author of Millennium @ Drumshee , Murder @ Drumshee and Gorgeous officially opened our library. There is a wide selection of books for any age to choose from: picture books, fictional books, factual books and novels. Most of these books are written by famous authors such as: Judi Curtin, Michael Morpurgo and much much more.
Each class has their own box of tickets. When a class goes in they find their box, take their tickets and stamp their books. There are three shelves of books. Easy books on the first, medium books on the second and hard books on the third. There is also a library in Rathkeale beside the council offices. The librarian there is Joan O' Toole. It has a lot of books also. There is adult books, children books and two computers with internet connection. There are tables and chairs so you can go in and read your book in peace and quiet. Membership for the library is free!
Library's are great and everyone loves them !!
